An indie rock band brought together around three young men with Autism and other disabilities. The six of us write original and evocative songs and create our own, vital and unique sound. Listen in, rock out!
The AutistiX have been back together for a few weeks now, energised after the holiday. We are working on several new songs (watch this space) and our choice of songs for this year's Beatles Day in Hastings on 3rd April (it'll be our 5th year playing there!) Songs will be 'All I've Got To Do', 'Gimme Some Truth' , 'You Can't Do That' and our new one is 'What is Life'. The band is putting a new twist on the first three songs performed at previous Beatles Day festivals and the new one for this year is sounding energetic, upbeat, and suits Jim's voice beautifully. We were lucky to be joined tonight by Levi Kaganowich on bass, who smiled all evening, enjoying himself, as he added welcome bass to the songs. We hope he will be able to join us again sometime, between his uni studies.
