Our next performance will be a very special one as we will be playing live at a film premiere! It will be for an amazing short film called 'I Used to be Famous' made by Superplex Pictures, a very creative young film company. This film was inspired by our drummer, Saul and he has a cameo role in the film! The film is about 2 central characters: a musician who is a drummer and has autism who transforms the life of a 'has been' ex boy band musician.
The details of the event are below, just the location is still to be decided, which we will advise when the information is available.
On Saturday September 12th, there will be a private premiere of “I Used to be Famous”. 'I Used to be Famous' is a South London fairytale of a culture-clash between a washed-up singer from 1990s boy band 'Boyzz Inc' and a musically talented young man with autism. Two opposite characters who transform each other's worlds through the power of music.
The film was directed by Eddie Sternberg and produced by Chris Pencakowski.
